Fettuccine Alfredo
- 1 lb Fettuccine Noodles
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 teaspoon Grated Nutmeg
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper
- 1–2 cups Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Boil a large pot of water. Cook the pasta according to package directions.
- In a large skillet over low heat, melt the butter. Once the butter is melted add the cream. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Turn the fire off and add the Parmesan cheese and mix together.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet. Toss and pour into a large dish. I love to add more Parmesan but you do not have to. Toss in the pasta, serve and enjoy!
