Pancakes makes the world better.
1–1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1–1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
2 cups buttermilk
a little less than 1/4 cup milk
2 extra large eggs
3 tablespoons butter, melted
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat together buttermilk, milk, eggs and melted butter.
Heat a large frying pan or oiled griddle on medium heat.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture, and combine. Do not over stir~ lumps will still be there and that’s ok. Pour the batter onto the frying pan or griddle, I like to use a 1/4 cup for measuring out each pancake. Brown on one side, once the bubbles start forming, flip and cook other side a few minutes.
Serve and with lots of maple syrup.
