2 pounds Chicken Wings, (_tips removed and drumsticks and wings separated_)
1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
1 Tablespoon Chinese 5-Spice Powder
1 Clove Garlic, (_minced_)
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
1/3 cup Hoisin Sauce
2 Teaspoons Honey
2 Tablespoons Light Brown Sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400ΒΊF.
Rinse wings and drumettes and pat dry. Transfer to a large bowl and toss with vegetable oil, black pepper, minced garlic, and 5-spice until well coated. Position wings on baking racks in a single layer ensuring that wings aren’t touching.
Bake, rotating pan half-way through, until fully cooked, 45 to 50 minutes. Remove wings from oven and transfer to a large bowl.
Whisk together hoisin, brown sugar, soy sauce, and honey in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until warm.
Drizzle wings with sauce, tossing until well coated. Serve immediately, with extra sauce on the side for dipping. π
