Total Time:1 hour 25 minutes
Yield:serves 8-10 1x
Ingredients
Scale
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 stick of Butter, softened (room temperature)
1 large Egg, room temperature
3 ripe Bananas, mashed
2 cups of All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
dash of Salt
1/2 cup of Milk
1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a loaf pan. In a large mixing bowl beat 1 stick of butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Add 1 large egg. Mash three ripened bananas, then add them to the sugar and butter mixture.
Next, your dry ingredients. Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour, the baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix all of these ingredients together.
Now for the wet ingredients. Add the 1/2 cup of milk and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and the peanut butter.
Mix in the chocolate chips, of your choice, but I like to use semi sweet chocolate chips.
Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through. Make sure to watch carefully so the top does not burn.
