Baked Chicken Tenders

Panko crusted chicken tenders that are oven-baked and not fried… YUM!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless Chicken Breasts Tenders
  • 1 1/2 cups Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper, divided
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare a baking sheet, you can either cover it with foil and lightly spray with cooking spray or just spray the sheet pan itself. Place to the side.
  2. In a shallow dish, season the flour with kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. In another dish lightly beat the eggs. In a third shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs with oregano, garlic, paprika, seasoned salt, and other 1/2 of black pepper.
  3. Dredge tenders in the flour to coat, shaking off any excess flour. Dip the floured chicken tenders into the egg and then coat the chicken tenders with the breadcrumb mixture. Arrange on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining strips.
  4. Bake chicken tenders for 15 minutes, or until golden brown, flipping once part way through the cook time.
  5. Serve with your favorite barbecue sauce, ketchup or honey.
