This recipe is long overdue. I made these for Valentine’s Day to bring to church and they were gone instantly. Super simple, easy, and the best part is that you can make them as a family. All you need are lollipop sticks (which you can get at any craft stores like Joann Fabrics or Michaels, also can be found at your local cake shop), Jumbo Marshmallows (you can find these at Target or Walmart), your favorite chocolate coating, and sprinkles. It doesn’t matter the occasion you can make these for any.
You see how easy that is, now it’s your turn… 🙂
Chocolate Covered Marshmallows
Ingredients
Lollipop Sticks
Jumbo Marshmallows
Chopped Chocolate or Chocolate Rounds (you can find these at your local baking stores, also any color will be fine)
Assorted Sprinkles, nuts, coconut, candy etc.
Directions
Stick the lollipop about half way through the marshmallow and set aside.
Fill a medium pot about 1/3 full with water, place a larger glass bowl on top of the pot and bring water to a simmer over medium high heat. Make sure the water is not touching the bottom of the glass bowl. Place chopped chocolate into the bowl and stir with a rubber spatula to melt the chocolate.
Dip the marshmallow straight down into the candy melt, about half way down. When I lift the marshmallow I slightly twist the lollipop so that the excess candy melt wraps around the top.
Decorate each marshmallow as you like with sprinkles, coconut, nuts, candy or whatever else you desire.
Just Have fun!
