What would you say if I told you, you could eat ice cream for breakfast… would you?
If I could eat ice cream ever day I think I would. I LOVE ice cream. Ice Cream plain. Ice cream with toppings. Ice cream sundaes…
I mean it doesn’t really matter. My favorite is chocolate with chocolate fudge. When I was a little girl my dad used to take me and my sister at the time, to Carvel.
Do you guys remember Carvel?
Well we would go and I would always get a vanilla cone with chocolate hard shell on top. To this day every time I drive pass a Carvel, which aren’t to many where I live, I remember those times.
Living in Florida means its HOT! Super duper HOT!!!! So we try and cool down any way we can. My great aunt used to always make homemade ice cream. She would come over to my grandmothers with her ice cream maker machine and we would make different kinds of flavored ice cream. I used to love watching the machine churn and churn and couldn’t wait for the time when my aunt would tell me it was time to taste it. Of course my patience was non existent at that time.. yea who figured🙂
Now you see I don’t own one of those nifty ice cream machines and for someone who loves making her own the thought of making ice cream with out a machine was a no brainer, and quite possibly one of the best recipes ever.
This no machine needed ice cream recipe literally only takes 2-3 ingredients and is so easy to make. Your ice cream comes out all silky, smooth and creamy. You will be blown away with how yummy this ice cream is. We added chocolate chips and Magic Shell Fudge Swirl.
Yummy!!!!!! 🙂

Easy and looks like the kids loved it too and who wouldn’t!!!
OMG! Carvel that brings back many memories!
It’s always so much fun to make ice cream at home, but it’s been far too long since I’ve done that. Love the sound of your chocolate chip version!
Look at those happy kids! This looks delicious!
I love the way the chocolate is distributed through this ice cream, it looks amazing! No-churn is basically the best…it’s so easy!
Ha! The other night my husband and I were walking to get pizza for dinner not realizing the joint was closed for vacation. Everyone out front was sitting and eating ice from Carvel. So I was like, we could have Carvel for dinner! 🙂 I love ice cream and this just happens to be a favorite flavor in our house. Looks fantastic!
Thanks Susan, ice cream is dairy and diary is very important in your meal… ice cream for dinner I say sure 😉
That really does look so yummy! Reminds me of ice cream we had as kids. Delicious!
