Peanut butter chocolate chip banana bread

A simple and delicious recipe for a moist banana bread combined with peanut butter and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 stick of Butter, softened (room temperature)
  • 1 large Egg, room temperature
  • 3 ripe Bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups of All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • dash of Salt
  • 1/2 cup of Milk
  • 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a loaf pan. In a large mixing bowl beat 1 stick of butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Add 1 large egg. Mash three ripened bananas, then add them to the sugar and butter mixture.
  2. Next, your dry ingredients. Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour, the baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix all of these ingredients together.
  3. Now for the wet ingredients. Add the 1/2 cup of milk and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and the peanut butter.
  4. Mix in the chocolate chips, of your choice, but I like to use semi sweet chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through. Make sure to watch carefully so the top does not burn.
  6. Enjoy!
