Do You Listen to Music While Cooking?

Some may say that cooking is an outlet for them, a chance to just be by ones self and attain some peace and tranquility.

Sometimes one may feel the need to slip in their favorite CD and jam while chopping and sautéing.  When I am in my kitchen I love listening to music especially oldies R and B.  I don’t know what it is about hearing Marvin Gaye or The Ojays while chopping vegetables just really relaxes me.

I have a love for music, all kinds so it honestly does not really matter what I am playing or what the radio station is playing.  If it has a great beat and I can jam then I’m good to go!

What gets you in the  mood to cook, music, the radio, or peaceful silence?
