Repurpose Rarely Used Appliances – “The Milk Shake Machine”

Have an appliance that is just sitting in your kitchen that is just collecting dust?

Wondering what else you can do with some of those great, yet expensive appliances you have and their other great uses…. I will tell you.

I will post a few different ideas in the next couple of days. I came across on Real Simple, what you can with a Milk Shake Machine, Rice Cooker, Waffle Iron, and Ice Cream Maker.

So lets start to repurpose some already great appliances!

Our first appliance is the Milk Shake Machine

Make an aioli, to spread on sandwiches, burgers, grilled chicken, even fish.  To make aioli, place 1 clove of garlic (minced), 2 egg yolks, 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt in the cup and combine with a fork.

Make sure to hold the cup so that the spindle reaches the bottom, this make sure it whisks all the ingredients together.  Turn on the machine and add 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil slowly.

When the mixture reaches the consistency of mayonnaise, add fresh chives, parsley, basil, or dill, or what you choose.

The aioli can be placed in refrigerator and used within the next few days.

Make an Omelette, just crack the eggs straight into the milkshake cup.

Make a vinaigrette.

So get out your milk shake machine and start shaking! 🙂
