Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies

Chocolate Cookie Dough Brownies

OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

This is what my son said when I made these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies for ThatsSoYummy’s Food and Wine Mixer.  I think he gets his insanely sweet tooth from yours truly, yea I admitted it… Me!
I am a sucker for brownies and not just any brownies but “chocolate brownies”.  Trust me their will be other recipes of my famous death by chocolate brownies with chocolate glaze that I will post soon enough.

But in the meanwhile you will have to just settle for these oooeeeyyyyy gggoooeeeyyyyyyy cookie dough stuffed chocolate chip brownies.

I found this recipe from the guru and bake magician Bakerella, (she is amazing guys if you have a chance definitely check out her site).  Some of her creations she makes you just say Wow!  I knew I had to try these and they came out Great!

Dose that sound like overkill?  Well………… apparently not to these bunches who ate them off. 🙂

Hope you Enjoy!

Start off by buying your two most favorite packaged brownie and chocolate chip cookie mix.  (You could make both of these from scratch of course, but when time is limited just make it easy)

Follow the directions on the box for making the brownies first.  Pour into a greased 13 X 9 inch pan.

*Try using a glass one like this.

Make the cookie mix as directed on the box and drop by rounded tablespoons into the brownie batter. Make sure to press the dough down lightly.

Bake for 35-40 minutes in a 350 degree preheated oven. When they’re done, take them out and let them cool completely. For about an hour.

You can either frost the top or make a special chocolate ganache…. Yea we chose the chocolate ganache 😛

Now, Bakerella says that the next step is the most crucial one, that’s right the DO NOT TOUCH step.  You need to leave the brownies alone to allow the ganache to set.

Its the hardest step of all but oh so worth it!
